This actually is a bit advanced exercise, too early to do so. If you want very strong ankles and calves, for strength and endurance, you first need to do isometric exercises on the calves and ankles. Just flex them at maximum for several seconds, do that in a few sets a day. Next is to do those Kung Fu stances, but raise your heels up, and instead of flexing at max just flex when necessary to maintain that lift, and hold until your calves start burning. Most important is recover. Always massage and stretch those calves as this will reduce damage onset muscle soreness on calves, making you train more frequently. Do that and after some time you'll develop very strong and endurance in calves and ankles, THEN you can do those dynamic exercises. Doing those explosive dynamic exercises with WEAK AF calves and ankles is asking for an Achilles tendon rupture. It's irresponsible to be dynamic too early when you should static train FIRST!!!
What do you mean your muscles are off and ligaments on???😂 Your muscles and tendons/ligaments are always dynamically relaxed and tension, not this binary switch of off/on. It's this type of advice that actually backfires, good luck maintaining healthy Achilles tendons with this!🤦♀
